Senior Center partners with Kwik Kar for free car safety/maintenance inspection
Kwik Kar partner Greg Tate will be helping people like Velma Wood at the Edmond Senior Center April 26 with free car safety and maintenance inspections.

Edmond Senior Center is hosting a free car safety and maintenance inspection April 26 at the City of Edmond's Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC), sponsored by Kwik Kar Auto Service Center of Edmond.
The inspections will take place at the MAC, located on Covell Road between Santa Fe Avenue and Kelly. Once you get to the MAC, signs will direct you to the inspection lane.
Scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the inspection will include headlights, tail lights, brake lights, wiper blades, air filter, cabin air filter, battery condition, brakes, CV boots, and all belts. In addition the cars will be checked for oil leaks and the condition of the brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant.
“April is National Car Care Month and these inspections are a public service to help people keep their cars off the shoulder and on the road,' said Greg Tate of Kwik Kar. “ASE certified technicians will be on hand to answer questions about your car. ASE is a certification that is the highest standard of excellence for automotive technicians.”
Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and there will be free gift give-a-ways.
