Why should you join?
Pat Nichols at Parents Helping Parents Inc.
Parents Helping Parents is an all-volunteer organization comprised of parents whose children were or still are addicted to drugs or alcohol. They provide resources to parents to help them cope with the addiction.
“We bring knowledge and experience to parents who have a situation similar to ours. We can help them save money and heartache,” said founder Pat Nichols.
By drawing on the experiences of other parents, Nichols strives to make it easier for these parents to navigate through the flood of information and treatment options available to them.
“We are like the academic advisor," explained Nichols. "We give you a strategic plan for your family.”
