How to Join - Application Information
Apply online >> Membership Application
Businesses serving the Edmond area may apply for membership if their business type is not filled. This prevents competition among members.
Members are expected to:
- attend meetings, a minimum of 50% each month.
- make at least two qualified referrals every month. Qualified referrals are business leads where a current member finds a contact within the community and shares that potential new client with another member.
- bring business people as guests to participate in the meetings.
- sponsor new members.
- provide business tips.
- provide leads resulting in sales for other members.
The member with the most referrals each quarter receives a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant of their choice or $100 toward an Edmond's Best member services.
Steps to becoming a new member
- The Membership Director reviews the application for completeness and possible conflicts.
- The member who sponsors an applicant speaks to the other members about the applicant’s business and reasons for acceptance.
- The prospective member addresses the current members at a meeting about his business.
- 90% of the attending members must vote to approve the application.
